Robert Otto: President & CEO
Robert is President and CEO of Evergreen USA, LLC. Previously, he was Director Product Marketing and Pricing at GN Netcom where he was responsible for lifecycle management and P&L for a $250M product portfolio. Prior to GN Netcom, Robert was Director of Marketing and Product Management at GarrettCom. He led the planning and introduction of new IP routing and Ethernet switching products purpose-built for utility networks. Robert came to GarrettCom via a merger with DYMEC, Inc. At DYMEC, a leader in industrial automation networking products, Robert was head of Product Marketing and Technical Services.
Robert has a 20-year career in telecommunications and software with extensive experience in engineering, marketing, business development and operations management. As head of Product Management at Xanoptix, he launched the world's highest density fiber optic transceivers and interconnects. Robert was a founder at Net-Hopper Systems, a successful start-up subsequently acquired by network switch and test equipment vendor Spirent Communications for $85M. Earlier senior engineering and operations roles at Fujitsu Nexion, Nortel Networks, and Telesat Canada included extensive experience in constructing and operating real-world critical Enterprise and Carrier networks.
Robert has a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo and Executive Education from the Harvard Business School in Finance, Accounting & Quantitative Analysis. He has been an active member of the IEEE, and was involved in setting fiber optic standards through the Telecommunications Industry Association. Robert holds several US and International patents.
Ed Goff: Chariman & Head of Sales
Ed is Chairman and Head of sales of Evergreen USA, LLC. Ed's background includes Vice President Sales for GarrettCom Utility Networks. He came to GarrettCom via a merger with of DYMEC, Inc. At DYMEC, a leader in industrial automation networking products, Ed launched the DynaStar line into the power utility market, providing Wide Area Network solutions for SCADA substation networks to many of the largest North American power utilities.
Ed has a 25-year career in telecommunications and software. He was previously Co-Founder and EVP of Final Mile Communications, an outsourcing company to major telecomm carriers, divisional Director at Progress Software, developing security, quality-of-service and billing software, and Founder and CEO of BroadReach Communications, a wireless services consulting firm. Earlier, he had an executive sales and technical services career at Bell Atlantic/NYNEX and participated in the executive Marketing program at Babson.
